25 Days of Book Boyfriends at Vampire Book ClubA couple weeks ago I joked on Twitter that I was in need of a book boyfriend Advent calendar. There was quite a bit of “yes, please!” from others, but no one could find a good one. Clearly, this was up to me. So, to make the chaotic holiday season a little more fun and a lot more sexy, we’re going to feature a book boyfriend every day for the next 25 days.

That’s right. Welcome to VBC’s 25 Days of Book Boyfriends.

DAY 2: DEATH
(ARCANA CHRONICLES)

If you’re liable to swoon for enemies-to-lovers stories, you’re going to get hooked on Death from Kresley Cole’s Arcana Chronicles. (Though, we know plenty who are liable to argue in the comments for a certain Cajun with all the charm when it comes to this series.)

Death (a.k.a. Aric) won us over after he opened up to Evie in Endless Knight (VBC review | Amazon). The whole series, though, is fantastic. We suggest starting at the beginning with Poison Princess (VBC review | Amazon).

Endless Knight by Kresley ColeIn this seductive follow-up to Poison Princess, #1 New York Times bestselling author Kresley Cole takes us deeper into the dark world of the Arcana Chronicles.

Shocking secrets
Evie has fully come into her powers as the Tarot Empress, and Jack was there to see it all. She now knows that the teens who’ve been reincarnated as the Tarot are in the throes of an epic battle. It’s kill or be killed, and the future of mankind hangs in the balance.

Unexpected allies
With threats lurking around every corner, Evie is forced to trust her newfound alliance. Together they must fight not only other Arcana, but also Bagmen zombies, post-apocalyptic storms, and cannibals.

Gut-wrenching treachery
When Evie meets Death, things get even more complicated. Though falling for Jack, she’s drawn to the dangerous Endless Knight as well. Somehow the Empress and Death share a history, one that Evie can’t remember–but Death can’t forget…

Yes! I’m very much on Team Death. Jack’s OK, but Aric’s my man.

I have at least the first two books on my Kindle. I really need to get around to reading them. You peaked my interest with the “enemies-to-lovers” comment.
