Does anyone else feel like November sneaked up behind them? Seriously. I’m on you to November. On the upside, this means I’m staring to plan the Best Of list for this year and we get a nice explosion of awesome reads. Don’t forget, we’re reading Iced by Karen Marie Moning this month, and there are new discussion topics over at the Goodreads group.

I Always Want More Ethan Sullivan
Chloe Neill posted the first chapter of House Rules, the next Chicagoland Vampires book. It’s heavy on Ethan/Merit dynamics and lets us know we’re about to get into some crazy politics based on the ending of Biting Cold. Seven books in and Ethan still gets my attention immediately. House Rules releases on Feb. 5, 2013.

More Sexy Shorts from Meljean Brook, Carolyn Crane and Jessica Sims
About a year and a half ago, these three put out an anthology filled with short and fairly sexy stories. (At the time, I was super impressed with Carolyn Crane’s contribution “Kitten-Tiger and The Monk,” which fit into her Disillusionists world.) Well, Meljean, Carolyn and Jessica (who also writes as Jill Myles) are back at it again. This time it looks to be even steamier. The book will be called Fire & Frost and should release in early 2013. Meljean shared the cover on her blog, and now I share it with you.

The first four locations for the Ever After book signing tour are announced. While Kim has said the cities before, we didn’t know where or when. Here’s the first bit of information (and you know I’ll share when I get the other dates):

The first Feral Warriors book by Pamela Palmer Desire Untamed is just $0.99 for Kindle right now. Be mindful, there are two versions. This is the new one with bonus content. I’m not sure how long it’ll stay on the cheap, so get in while you can.

Also, if you’re like me and in love with Karina Cooper’s Dark Mission series, the prequel Before the Witches is also just $0.99 over at Amazon. It details the earthquake (and fallout) that put the whole world into order for the Dark Mission books.
