Breaking out of a reading rut [H&H]

I was lucky in this last month to have a couple books that reinvigorated my reading habit. As you know, I went on a little shifter romance bender a week ago. And before that I was head-over-heels for Kindling the Moon by Jenn Bennet. (The sequel comes out today, and is coming up quickly on my review to-read pile.)

As such, I picked four books to break my genre-reading friends out of any reading rut. One is urban fantasy, another literary fiction, the third paranormal romance and the fourth dystopian with zombies. The full list, with the reasons each book is a must-read title, is up at Heroes & Heartbreakers.
