Chloe Neill Guest Post & Giveaway: Jeff’s love letter to Fallon

logo

Any fan of Chloe Neill’s Chicagoland Vampires series knows there’s more to it than just Merit and Ethan. The full cast of characters make the world come alive. In recent novels we’ve seen Jeff Christopher, shifter and computer whiz, fall for the alpha’s sister Fallon. He may still crush on Merit, but his heart belongs to Fallon.

While we’re all antsy for tomorrow’s release of House Rules (expect a review here tomorrow), Chloe has shared this love letter from Jeff to Fallon as part of our Character Love Letters event. Read it. Swoon. Wish for more Fallon/Jeff in the books. Then, enter to win a Chicagoland swag pack including copies of House Rules and Biting Cold, Cadogan goodies and more.

House Rules by Chloe Neill Goddess:

Yes, I know you don’t like it when I call you that. I hear you.

I’m going to do it anyway.

I consider myself a fortunate guy, Fallon. I’ve got good friends, a good family, a good job. Well, a good volunteer
opportunity, anyway.

I’m a gamer with friends online and off, and I know plenty of gamer girls who are crazy smart, crazy creative, crazy
funny.  They’re brave and unique and comfortable in their skin.

And they all pale in comparison to you.

I’ve never met anyone like you, Fal. Loyal. Strong. Gorgeous. Equal parts hottie and nerdgirl. You’re funny and brilliant, and you have the weirdest, darkest, sense of humor I’ve ever seen. You are tough and brave and
extraordinary, and I respect the hell out of you.

You’re dealing with stuff. I understand that. I get it. We all have our personal demons. Some of them more literal than
others.

But get this:  I’m not going anywhere. You want space? You got it. You need time? Done. But at the end of the day, when you work through everything you need to work through, I’ll be standing here, on the other side of the door.

Waiting for you.

I love you, Fal. And that’s not going away.

Yours,
Jeff

Dang, I wish I was creative enough to do this. Oh well, I’m a sucker for swag.

    Dearest Catcher,

Your loyalty to Mallory is remarkably attractive. Even when she decided to go “End-the-world” psycho you stood by her. I can only hope that in the next few books she becomes someone who is worthy of your devotion and love. If not ditch her, and come to me. You’re way to badass to be with such a whiny, selfish girl anyway.

    Always yours,
    Jill

  2. Krista says:

    Morgan,

Look, you don’t know me from Eve. You probably have some trust issues after what happened with your former master. And I know that getting over Merit was probably tough – she’s a formidable woman. But, I think I can help there. I saw you at Red the other night, and you looked out of sorts. Let me make you dinner, and I’ll show you how formidable I can be. I promise you won’t regret it.

    I’ll be waiting,
    Krista

  3. teresa bergan says:

    Ethan,
I know that you and Merit have a thing. You have history. I know that is a big obstacle to overcome. But, Merit needs to be set free. You guys will never be forever because she is to independent for you and you need someone that “needs you”. I can be that needs you person. I can accept you for everything you got to bring to us. I will take that dark side of you, in fact, I need it. I will take that power that you have, because I need it. You need this and I need you. So take a chance, if you love Merit, set her free and come to me.

    I will be waiting!

  4. Ellen says:

    Dear Ethan,

You can be so difficult. You are certainly stubborn. And sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees. You didn’t like how I dressed, you gave me to Morgan, and you broke my heart over and over again. Then you died to save me and I knew despite all the politics and all the obstacles we both put between us, I loved you more than anything else. When I thought of all the years ahead of me without you, I knew immortality could be a curse. Then you returned. A miracle in itself. But you came back wiser, more flexible, and more aware. I guess you realized how much I meant to you as well. So, after all this, both of us must hold on to that love. We can do anything, get through everything as long as we are together. I love you.

    Always and forever,
    Merit

First let me say that I love that letter to Fallon and I love that Jeff and Fallon are highlighted! Ok, here goes:

    **

    Dear Jonah,

She’s in love with Ethan. You can either spend an eternity, literally, pining for a woman who is in love with another man or you can move on with your life and find some happiness. With me. Meet me at Wrigley and we can find some magic of our own.

    She-Wolf

LOL! So much fun and such a great idea!

  7. Froggy says:

    Morgan,

Merit can never love you the way you deserve..not the way I can love you. I understand you need time to get over her but when you are ready I will be here to waiting for you. I will mend your broken heart and show you how it is to be loved.

    Yours,
    Froggy

  8. Dear Catcher

I adore you and all of your snarky comments. Your t shirts are always so funny. But I love that you are loyal and a true friend. I love that we can watch TV together and that we can create some magic. If things don’t work out with mallory , I am your girl.

    Love
    me

  11. Miriam R. says:

    Dear Jonah,
Yes Ethan is the main person in Merits life but you are the one in mine. The fact that you have four PhDs is just HOT. You are a secure, strong, dark ,loyal, sexy vampire whome i would love to jump out of buildings with. Words arent enought to express to you that i am the one person meant for you. I would love to fight by you wearing that MIDNIGHT HIGH SCHOOL tee that makes you look like a freaking model. I would trade my big state to join your chicago because baby you are bigger.lol

    Dear Chuck,

You seem to be a smart, caring, and genuine man who is calm under pressure and no matter how busy your life gets, always has time for your family. You are surrounded by young people in love and I feel it would be nice for you to have someone to share the rest of your life with. My grandmother is a widow and I know that she deserves a second chance at love too. Please give me a chance to introduce you two, I just have a feeling she may be the lady for you.

    Ali

  13. Liz S says:

    Dear Jonah,

Merit doesn’t deserve you. Her heart is committed to Ethan. I love your sexy brain and your ability to leap off tall buildings in a single bound! Please be my very own Superman!

    Waiting patiently,

  14. erinf1 says:

  15. Adrian says:

I kind of suck at these kinds of things but oh well…

    Dearest Noah,
I have admired you from afar for far too long. I can’t stand it any longer. I must tell you how I feel. I understand that you are busy with the Rogues (and the Red Guard…yes, I know about that but don’t worry, i won’t tell anyone.) and I believe a good, warm woman to come home to at morning would be good for you and I would absolutely love to be that woman. Seriously. We could have a LOT of fun. Don’t be all work and no play. Give me a call!

    -A

  16. Anastasia Miller says:

    Ethan,
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue
I’m not a vampire, but I’d become one for you!

    Eternally,
    Anastasia

    lol 😉

  17. bn100 says:

My Fallon: You belong with me. I’ll be waiting until you feel it, too.

    Always yours,
    J

  18. Nicole says:

    Seth,

When are you returning to me? I knew from the beginning that you were someone of sheer power. I would love to soar through the clouds with you. So I will await your triumphant return to this windy city, its lost it beauty without you in it.

    Waiting patiently,
    Nicole

  19. Christina M says:

    Dear Jonah,

I can understand the atrraction that you feel towards Merit. She is smart, funny, and graceful. You were there for her as a friend and mentor/partner for the RG. But she is in love with Ethan, even when he was gone he wasn’t. I know that you feel things for her, should you give me the chance, I could be everything that you ever wanted or need too. And if anything I think that Merit and I could become good friends, so you wouldn’t even have to choose.

  20. Debbie P. (Yodamom) says:

    Jonah,
Brains win every time with me, and your body seals the deal. I am the one you need, together we could rule Chicago. Forget about what’s her name and delve into the power of the force with me.
    Love yah
    Yodamom

  21. Madison says:

    Dear Ethan,
You are so very difficult and certainly stubborn. Your aragent and hard headed, and you argue about everything with me. You dont agree with my cloths, and you cretainly dont agree with my diet. You have gievn me to another man and used me for your own benefit and to top it all off you sacrificed yourself to save me. You have gone from hot to cold in a matter of heartbeats with me but threw everything you have only made me love you more and more. I am your sentenal and novitiate. I am your Merit and you are my Ethan. I will always be there.
    Love and Protection,
    Merit

  22. Meggan McQuaid says:

    Dear Catcher,

    Love, Meggan

    Dear Jonah,

Intelligence, patience, and the ability to kick some serious booty. Your demeanor seemed understated, but I find that insanely attractive. I haven’t the faintest idea if a thing between us would work, but I’m willing to jump if you are.
