Thanks to all those who voted in the poll, I’ve determined a discussion board is the best way to handle our group read chats. While I had planned to do this on Facebook, looks like they’ll be removing the “discussion” application on Oct.31. As such, I’ve created a group on Goodreads to handle all our group read discussions. Go join the group right now, I’ll wait.
This is awesome for several reasons. One, you can get reminders when we’re getting close to finishing the book and when we’re about to have the chat. Two, you’ll be able to share your thoughts immediately upon completing the book. I will create a thread open for spoilers at the beginning of each month. You won’t have to wait until the end of the month to start talking about the book. Three, it makes it easier for those wanting to avoid spoilers to do so.
I’ve already set up the Blood Rights thread over at Vampire Book Club on Goodreads. The official chat will be happening Wednesday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CST, but if you can’t make it, just the general discussion thread and you’ll be able to revel in the House of Comarré talk with other VBC readers, nonetheless.
Woop! I’m so excited for the chat to be in a new place!
Looking forward to the chat! I am almost done reading the book.
