It’s not exactly a secret that I’m excited for Lothaire, but I’m also really looking forward to reading Karina Cooper’s latest (All Things Wicked) and have my fingers crossed for Calla making a choice in Bloodrose. What about you? Which January books are you most excited to read?

  1. Julie says:

I really like the Kara Gillian series by Diana Rowland and will be picking up the latest book. But, if I didn’t know the series, the cover of “Sins of the Demon” would make me think twice about buying it. Guess that just proves that old saying about judging books by their covers.

  2. Line says:

I am going for Lothaire and Silver-Tongued Devil by Jaye Wells. I probably also will pick up All things Wicked by Karina Cooper.

I would have to agree with Julie – the cover for Sins of the Demon is not enticing, and makes me think more of an alien book than UF. I don’t know the books, but I don’t think the cover artist did the author a favor here.

  3. Bells says:

LOTHAIRE!!! I can’t wait to read it!

  4. Debbie Bussie says:

    Lothaire! So excited!

  5. Jackie says:

Thank heavens finally Jane Yellowrock [Faith Hunter Ravens Cursed] and Kara Gillian [Diana Rowland Sins of the Demon] are back if only they would be on Kindle i could be reading them now instead of waiting for the Book Depository and the postman to get a move on and deliver my books.

  6. Joanna says:

Can’t wait for “Bloodrose” by Andrea Creamer. I have no idea who she is going to choose. I know who I would;)

  7. Crys says:

Lothaire in 3 more days! the excerpt was amazing, can’t wait to read the rest of the book.

  8. LuLu says:

Kresley Cole is one of my faves so look forward to ‘Lothaire’. Also enjoy The Dark Mission Series by Karina Cooper. Just am on a budget so hav to wait for used paperbacks to cycle down!

  9. Belgie says:

As I sit here and try to think how to explain Lothaire, all I can really is say is that he is just one of a kind. There isn’t a lot of gray in his world. He is so old and his arrogance is so ingrained, that it is his way or else. Kresley Cole allows him to fall in love — and still retain these characteristics. Because of his age, and the fact that when he drinks from people, he retains their memories, he is not lucid at all times. He is skirting the edge of insanity and fears he may not make it to exact his revenge.
