Making us humble: Versatile Blogger Award

logo

The Versatile Blogger Award (Vampire Book Club)We’re not much for turning these posts back on ourselves, but when someone asks, we hate saying no. Jeanette from Today & Everyday was super sweet and passed the Versatile Blogger Award on to us. Read on for the required seven facts about us — well, about the Vampire Book Club editor Chelsea — and for a handful of great blog suggestions.

Here’s the guidelines that come along with receiving The Versatile Blogger award:

  1. Thank and link back to the blogger who gave you the award. (This is just good manners.)
  2. Share seven things about yourself.
  3. Pass the award along to 15 bloggers whom you have recently discovered and find fantastic.
  4. Give the aforementioned bloggers a heads up about the award.

And now, because you were dying to know, seven things about Chelsea from Vampire Book Club:

  • My day job is online marketing. So, I have good reason to be spending my days on Facebook, Twitter and trolling blogs.
  • When I was in 5th and 6th grades, I was obsessed with the Nancy Drew series. I also really dug the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I believe this may say something about how I ended up elbow-deep in urban fantasy books.
  • I have two giant dogs, who think they are lap dogs. I am OK with this.
  • While I live in the Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas, area now, you may see me make references to Phoenix and Nebraska — my former homes. (Side note, I’m allowed to make jokes about small towns in Nebraska, you are not. Please note the double standard.)
  • I am not a cyclist (by a long shot), but I always end up watching the Tour de France because my husband is an avid cyclist and works in bicycle shop.
  • I almost exclusively wear silver jewelry. (Makes the picks for our The Iron Daughter prize packs make even more sense, huh?)
  • I’m trying to kick drinking soda. My obsession with Dr Pepper does not help. Wish me luck.
