New and improved Recommendations

Vampire Book ClubIt’s been a few months in coming, but the Recommendations section of Vampire Book Club has finally gotten a much needed facelift. There are still a few more updates to come, but the big part is complete.

Now, you’ll find three main sections to the Recommendations: Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy and Young Adult. Each has a full listing of great titles VBC gives a big thumbs up to, as well as links to reviews and excerpts.

Splitting things up isn’t the only update. We’ve also added several new books and series to the recommendations including the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne, House of Comarré series by Kristen Painter, Dark Mission series by Karina Cooper, Firelight series by Sophie Jordan and the Otherkin series by Eve Silver.

Take a peek at phase one of the update, and let me know what you think. I plan to add a fourth section to catch fantasy and horror novels that fall out of our main purview.

Hey 🙂 I’ve been following your site for a while – you guys were one of the first places that I found to start recommending books when I started reading more PNR.
I wanted to suggest that you add Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series to the PNR recommend section. For those people looking for a long, complexe, very romantic and often heartwrenching stories with very tortured alpha heroes, its a wonderful series with more than 20 books 🙂
