What do you think draws readers to shifter stories?
Alexandra Ivy: The heat, the danger, the mystery of the shifters. They can be badass in a way you couldn’t allow a normal human to be.
Carrie Ann Ryan: I think it has to do with the fact they have an internal struggle already layered in. They can be happy, broody, dangerous, content, broken or anything but still have to deal with other senses and another part of themselves. I love it.
