Lost Wages of Sin has the kind of hero paranormal romance fans will want to eat up. Or lick. Or, hell, you’ll want him.

In addition to gorgeous attributes and sexual prowess, Dante is the guy that melts hearts. He’s a vampire who breaks rules, laughs at his own jokes and is generally badass … EXCEPT he would do anything for Ava. He loves her so deeply and is willing to risk the wrath of Lucifer and any powerful demon just for the chance to be at Ava’s side. He’ll do it without question or explanation. And he’ll do it regardless of if his feelings are returned.

Bad boy vampire hottie with a heart? Take me now, Dante. (Seriously. But don’t tell my husband.)

(Damn, I should have put that at the end, huh? You’re not even going to keep reading. You’re picturing Dante.)

Ava has lived for millennia, and for the most part, she’s kept her interactions down to just her immediate family in hell. As a Sin (a la the 7 Deadly Sins) she has abilities demons do not. She can enter consecrated ground, for example. She reports directly to Lucifer and enjoys being one of his favorites. But all that came to a crashing halt when she fell for an angel. She planned to quit and ride off into the sunset with him. She told Lucifer. Her angel never showed. Now everyone thinks she’s a traitor, and so she’s on the run. The one person she’s let know her at all, other than her brothers and sisters, is Dante. The vampire could be helpful in a pinch and, though she probably wouldn’t admit it, he has a great way of lightening the mood.

And she never guessed he was in love with her. But on the run only three days, and Dante found her. Refuses to leave her. Even after she comes clean with being a Sin, a deeply guarded secret, he wants to stay with her. And he has no problem making it clear his light sexual jokes all along were real, and he really wants to be with her. And not just because the angel got there first.

Ava is complex and strong. She’s been the good girl in hellspawn terms and now she wants the freedom to have something for herself. She has to decide if her feelings for Dante are legit, a result of a rebound or just what happens when you’re in a life-or-death situation.

Lost Wages of Sin hits all the marks: it’s about love at its core, a hero you’ll be thinking about for quite some time, great mythology and just enough sexy action to get your attention. Plus, it’s a novella; so quick read with instant satisfaction. I’ll be on the lookout for the next in this series. In the meantime, you should download the novella now.
