Just because it sits in the young adult section doesn’t mean a book is just for teens. Usually, it’s more about there being a teen protagonist. We like it; so this week we give you five contests tied to excellent YA novels and series.
- Oh, The Book Smugglers (we love this blog). They’ve smuggled out two copies of Kim Harrison’s Early to Death, Early to Rise (book 2 in the Madison Avery series) for their readers. Enter by July 31 for your chance to win. Open to U.S. and Canada residents only.
- Pure Imagination is giving away five hot young adult titles. Enter by Aug. 6 to win Linger, 13 to Life, Shadow Hills and two others. Contest is option internationally.
- Time’s almost out for author Julie Kagawa’s fan-made book trailer contest. She wants to see your 1-3 minute book trailer for the Iron Fey novella Winter’s Passage. First prize is a signed copy of The Iron Daughter (our review), with an autographed, doodled bookplate inside. Get full details on Kagawa’s blog. Contest ends Saturday.
- Penguin has all three books in Lili St. Crow’s Strange Angels series up for grabs. The three books are: Strange Angels (Book 1), Betrayals (Book 2) and Jealousy (Book 3). Entering only requires filling out a form, so hop to it! Contest is open through Aug. 12.
- Want a copy of Becca Fitzpatrick’s Crescendo? Well, Good Choice Reading has one advanced review copy available, but they’re making you work for it. Read all the details here. Contest ends Aug. 3.
- Once Upon a Twilight has a specially-made Twilight clock for one lucky winner. Enter by Aug. 8.
