We’re doing something a little different this round. Most of our battles have been relatively close calls, but even we admit it’s hard to stand against Barrons (we devoted our St. Patrick’s Day to the guy). So, we have two champions for him. That’s right. We have two people ready to convince you to vote for Fae King Dorian. And, then, you can tell us which supernatural alpha male should advance in the Showdown.

Championing for Barrons: Bells from Hanging with Bells
BARRONS! This one word says it all. Just by seeing or reading his name causes women everywhere to conjure up images of red satin sheets, crimson and black tattoos, and dark and dirty seductive thoughts. These thoughts run rampant when thinking of Barrons. Why is he the ultimate alpha? He is carnal. He is an animal. You want to be ravaged by him. He knows this, and so he has lots of swagger. He knows that you want him and he knows that you can’t handle him. He will be too much and not enough at the same time. He messes with your mind and afterwards he leaves you speechless and wanting more. You can never have too much of Barrons.
To put it all in a nutshell, Barrons is very dangerous. He’s been around for a long time and is a natural leader. Everyone fears him including the very powerful Fae. He cannot be defeated and trust me you want to be on his team. He is sin incarnate all wrapped up into the body of one man. Barrons does what he wants, says what he wants, and doesn’t care what you think or if your feeling are hurt. He is one bad mofo!

Jericho Z. Barrons…get ready to meet you daddy. Dorian. King of the Fae. Powerful ruler in Faery. When you see Dorian you see power. Luscious, decadent, sexy power. He stands a head above the rest and makes sure you don’t forget that. Dorian doesn’t just fight his enemies, he crushes them into obliteration. He is THE alpha-so be forewarned before you get between him and what he wants. Dorian has the gift of snark no matter what happens, you’re guaranteed a hilarious time. You can only take an irritating alpha for so long before mutiny is a must. Dorian’s here for the long haul so hope on and enjoy the ride.

What can I say other than he’s Dorian, The Oak King? He’s not built like a fighter, but don’t let that fool you. He defends the ones he loves, and takes things into his own hands, consequences be damned. If those consequence lead to war, so be it. He won’t sit on his ass while others fight for him. He’s on the front line fighting beside his men.
He’s powerful and strong and can totally yield the earth to crumble at his feet… literally.
He’s the ultimate Alpha. He knows how to use his opponents as pawns in his climb to reach the top. He is always thinking 10 steps ahead and doesn’t hide his motives, most of the time. With all of his flaws you still end up falling for him, because he is one hell of a king.
Dorian can take out any competitor with the snap of his fingers.

Don’t know anything about the other guy but Dorian would probably do anything to win (even cheat) so my money would be on him if it came down to it.
Then you should read his series. Totally worth the read and Barrons is… well, unbeatable.

Barrons is…well we don’t really know but he’s powerful, dangerous, mysterious, sexy as hell and loyal! No contest here.
I haven’t read either of these series, but Darkfever is on my to-read list along with the Highlander series, also by Moning, whereas Storm Born is not. And I’ve read both the Vampire Academy series and the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead. But Barrons was described in such away that it’s obvious that he’s way more badass then Dorian.
