Contest Roundup: Hunger Games edition

Because we’re really excited for Mockingjay, the final chapter in the Hunger Games trilogy, to be released later this month, we’re giving the first two spots to Hunger Games-related contests. (Related: Waiting on Wednesday: Mockingjay)

• Win all three books in the Hunger Games trilogy — The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay — from Supernatural Snark. The contest is open through Aug. 17. Only open to U.S. residents.

• Throw your name in the hat for a Hunger Games messenger bag over on Dear Author. A comment saying who you’d like to see Katniss end up with (including an interesting case for Haymitch) is all it takes to enter. Again, this one is just for the U.S. readers. Enter by Aug. 18.

• Book Faery has two Kelly Meding books (Three Days to Dead and As Lie the Dead) for two lucky winners as part of her Battle of the Sexies series. Urban fantasy fans who haven’t yet read Meding’s books, this could be a great way to start. Giveaway ends Sept. 4.  U.S. residents only.

• For our fellow Vampire Academy series fans, we found out Candace’s Book Blog has a signed copy of Vampire Academy up for grabs. Contest ends Aug. 31, and, yes, again, it’s only for U.S. residents.

• Also, don’t forget, we’re giving away two The Iron Daughter prize packs. Entries must be in by 10 a.m. CST on Monday, Aug. 16. Make sure to enter soon. (We’ll have a new and totally awesome contest starting on Tuesday, so keep coming back. We’re keeping the free stuff flowing!)

A quick note: This week we had trouble finding international contests. We know many of you are from other countries, and will do some more digging to have contests open internationally in next week’s roundup.
