Early Review: Heart of Darkness by Lauren Dane

By now y’all know I write for Heroes & Heartbreakers as well. Usually I keep the reviews to this site and expound on all things alpha male and vampire over there. Not today. I read the first book in Lauren Dane’s new Bound by Magick series, Heart of Darkness, and reviewed it at H&H. I was going to write a second review here, but the other article covers the most important things.

This book has a great hero/heroine dynamic. My article at H&H mostly covers how this book about witches is perfect for paranormal romance readers who love shifters. There’s plenty of “mine” action, but with big twists. Once I started Heart of Darkness, I was addicted. It was unputdownable. And it’s lighter, sensual tone reminded me of when I breezed through Amanda Ashley’s Bound by Blood.
