Amber Benson has a knack for all things otherworldly. As an actress she ruled a Willow’s witch-y girlfriend Tara on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and trust us when we say woman can write some good urban fantasy. Thanks to the lovely folks at Ace/Penguin we have four copies of Benson’s latest Calliope Reaper-Jones novel, Serpent’s Storm, to give away.

Here’s the official word on Serpent’s Storm: “Calliope just wants to make it big in the Big Apple like any other working girl. I have been following Amber on Twitter for a while now. I am also a HUGE Buffy fan. No idea that she has created her own book series. To be honest I don’t read all that much, but the books I do read are supernatural so this will fit right in 🙂 Thanks for the givaway!
I am a huge Buffy fan since day one. I have been following Amber on Twitter for a while and had no idea she had her own book series. I tend to only read Supernatural, Wicca, I guess not your ordinary type of books. So this book will fit right in! 🙂 I also think that Twilight don’t got shit on these vampires 😉

I really like Amber. I saw the funniest clip of her doing a reading of a sex scene from one of her books and she had Patrick Rothfuss reading the male’s parts in the book. They were both so embarrassed, the audience was on the floor. It was hilarious.
I love her books and would really like to read the next calliope Jones so I can review it for my blogl.
