Itching for a new young adult vampire novel? Then, lucky you, Vampire Book Club is giving away two copies of Crave by Melinda Metz and Laura J. Burns.
Here’s the official skinny:
Shay has always been different—and she is about to find out why.
Shay could never do the things her friends could—never try out for sports, never go to parties, never fall in love. Because of the mysterious and incurable blood disorder she was born with, she can barely make it through three days of school a week.
But now, her doctor-turned-stepfather has a brand-new treatment that he thinks will change everything. And it does. As soon as the new blood starts pumping into Shay’s veins, she has visions of a different life…Gabriel’s life. She sees an orphanage, loss, fangs, blood, and lust that she can’t explain.
Is Gabriel real? And if he is, could he really be what she thinks he is?
If the authors’ names sound familiar, there’s good reason. Both have written YA series: Chloe Gamble for Burns and Echoes and Roswell High for Metz. These ladies have written movie and TV tie-in novels (Buffy, Everwood, King Kong) and were also staff writers for the TV show Roswell, which was adapted from Metz’s novel Roswell High.
Crave is set for release Sept. 21, 2010, from Simon & Schuster. You can pre-order the novel from The Book Depository or Amazon.

So I read this book because it seemed interesting –It was! But…. Why was the ending so abrupt, fast, and cut off??!!! What happened??? Did Gabriel’s family kill her or was he so weak not to resue her before they did? I hope u do continue the series because it ended really stupidly…. I was like “that’s it? wth?!” 😛
