When chatting with VBC readers on social media, I hear plenty of people singing the praises of Jamie Fraser as their ultimate book boyfriend. If you’ve read Outlander, you probably know why. I mean, I prefer a supernatural fella, but who isn’t utterly in love with the Scot who falls for a time-traveling heroine?
The series has been adapted for television on Starz, and is now in the second season. I’m diving into Jamie and Claire’s relationship throughout each episode for Heroes & Heartbreakers, but have to keep my VBC crew in the loop.

When we last left Jamie and Claire, she’d taken to French customs for body hair (Jamie approved) and discovered that Black Jack Randall is still alive (and she hasn’t told Jamie). They’re making headway on their mission to stop the rebellion. They’ve met key players in the previous episodes. Now they need to move forward with the plan.
