The VBC team is hard at work on our annual best of lists, but like last year we want to include the reader favorite, too. (Last year, you picked Shadowfever.)
While we’ll announce the best books list in time for you to leverage it for shopping purposes—or just pass the link to your significant other and say “buy me this”—we need your input for the reader’s choice.
And I’ll even bribe you into participating by offering three VBC readers their choice of any book we’ve reviewed. (This is open internationally, but the Book Depository must ship to your location.)
Here’s how it works. To nominate books for the VBC Reader’s Choice Best Book of 2012, leave a comment on this post with that book. The book must have been published for the first time in 2012. Do not forget this part.
To enter the contest portion, you’ll need to fill out the Rafflecopter form below.
Nomination round and contest close on Monday, Nov. 19.
Cinder by Marissa Meyer published January 3rd 2012
Iced by Karen Marie Moning
It’s not out yet, but I know it’s going to be fantastic! I’ve loved every book so far, so I’m voting for Reseph’s book in the LOD series by Larissa Ione; Rogue Rider. It releases next week!!!
That is a really hard one. I have read many great books this year, but my favorite has to be “Lover Reborn” by JR. Ward.
The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead
Gunmetal Magic (Kate Daniels World #1) by Ilona Andrews
Summoning the Night (Arcadia Bell #2) by Jenn Bennett
Sins of the Demon (Kara Gillian #4) by Diana Rowland
Wow, that’s a tough call and I think my ultimate favourite was Sin of the Demon by Diana Rowland, quickly followed by A Perfect Blood, The Ripple Effect, Once Burned, ICED and Archangel’s Storm.
Then there there will be so many to come by end of Nov and if course another Kara Gillian book by the end of Dec. So yes, hard choice indeed. 🙂
My absolute favorite in 2012 is LUX Series by Jennifer Armentrout. The series is awesome!!

Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost
Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews and Even White Trash Zombies Get the Blues by Diana Rowland (which doesn’t end on a freakin’ cliffhanger like Sins of the Demon, thus getting my vote, lol!)
Wow. I have too many and I will just have to picke Iced by KMM. No one else will do it for me. But Lothaire is right there by Kresley Cole.
Iced by KMM and Lethal Rider by Larissa Ione!
Lethal Rider by Larissa Ione, Rogue Rider is also awesome (I cried when my advance copy was delivered)so I nominate both of them 🙂
My favorite will have to be Tempest’s Fury by Nicole Peeler. I loved the cliff hanger ending. My second fave is Ashes of Honor by Seanan McGuire. I love both Jane True and October Daye. I discovered them both this year. They don’t beat Kate Daniels though!
Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews
I have to go with Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews.
