We’re finalizing the Vampire Book Club Best of 2013 list. It’s pretty epic this year, as we’re incorporating all our reviewers’ choices into one definite list. While we make those final decisions and get the post put together, we are missing one more component of our annual list: your pick.
We always have a readers’ choice title, and we need VBC readers to tell us what book was their absolute favorite. Yes, just one. We know that’s ridiculously hard and kind of evil of us, but that’s why you like us.
To encourage you to narrow your pick down to just one book published in 2013, we’re making it a giveaway. Submit your pick for the best book of 2013 via the Rafflecopter form below and you’ll be entered to win any book we’ve reviewed (hundreds and hundreds of options). Open internationally, provided the Book Depository ships to your location.
Votes in the comment won’t count toward the winner, but might sway others to vote your way. So, you know, chat it up.
In the meantime, check out our Best Of lists from 2012, 2011 and 2010.
It has been really diificult: J.R. Ward, Darynda Jones, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Ilona Andrews, Abigail Roux… I am not sure yet if I have choosen the best one!!!
I had such a hard time narowing it down to 1 book!! There were so many great books this year.
Picking just one book is sooooo hard, especially when you’ve read as many amazing books as I have this year. That being said, the standout for me was Cold Blooded by Amanda Carlson.
I listed Heart of Obisidian, Magic Rises was a close second.
Can’t wait to see the final list, so many great books this year!
I’ve read several books on this list, but only Mockingjay made me cry, so that’s what I vote for.
Loved Clockwork Princess and Indigo Spell
This was a hard choice! Jr Ward, Darynda Jones oh man all the others! Wow!
So many books to choose from.
100% Darynda Jones! Fifth Grave Past the Light was my favorite book! Kevin Hearne’s new Iron Druid book was also very good.
Written in Red by Anne Bishop!

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas BLOW ME AWAY. INCREDIBLE

Darynda Jones! Fifth Grave Past the Light is favorite book! ~Angela
Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas!!! It was just fantastic!!
Twice Tempted by Jeaniene Frost – it’s not even a contest! Frost writes the sexiest, best vampires and (when you don’t have Bones) Vlad Tepesh is absolutely as hot as the come (and not just because he can actually set things on fire). *sizzle*
I vote for Death and The Girl He Loves by Darynda Jones! Absolute fantastic book!
Talk about a tough one! Almost anything by Nalini Singh, Thea Harrison, Ilona Andrews, and Patricia Briggs are on my automatic reads list, and they have all been busy!
I had a hard time choosing between Archangel’s Legion and Magic Rises!
Fifth Grave Past the Light by Darynda Jones! Love me some Darynda!
Definitely had to think on that!
I’ve gotta go with Magic Rises. Ilona Andrews’ book is always my favorite of the year.
Magic Rises by Ilona Andrews has left the deepest impact on me this year.
