Things are advancing in the Alpha Showdown 2013. We’ve hit the second tier of the event. Winners will start battling winners. Expect the stakes to be raised and the smack talk to increase.
Both Adam and Qhuinn had to fight hard to win against the big-time alphas in their last rounds. Who will prevail this time? The shifter or the warrior vampire?

Adam Hauptman is not only a smart businessman, but also an alpha werewolf commanding a pack of shifters that bow down to him on a daily basis. He is an alpha extraordinaire! This is the “Alpha Showdown.” I’m not even sure I need to give anymore evidence to make Adam the clear champion. But if I must…
I think what makes Adam stand out against all the other weasly wannabe alphas *smirks* is that he is a well-rounded alpha. He not only has the strength to fight off any enemy and to fight those in his pack that challenge him, but he has the smarts. He is extremely intelligent which ladies…we can all admit is a very sexy trait. He is cunning and doesn’t have to waste his energy unnecessarily.
So we know Adam is smart and fierce. But how does his alpha tendencies relate to his mate? Perfectly of course.
“I like her just the way she is, Bran.” And he meant it, greasy overalls, broken fingernails, and all.”
Is there anything better? While his protective streak runs deep with Mercy, he respects her for who she is. And that right there is the key to everything.

This is a difficult one – I love both of them but I think Adam is more alpha at the moment. Give Quinn a few more years and I reckon he’ll give Adam a run for his money 🙂

The choices aren’t easy any more! I had to give Adam the edge here cause he is an actual alpha of a pack. While Qhuinn is hot as hell and has some alpha tendencies, he’s not a leader yet.
Qhuinn. He hasn’t managed to get kidnapped and need to get rescued yet.
Adam is the Alpha of his pack, but that’s just because Qhuinn doesn’t live in the area. Adam will go down (again) if Qhuinn ever shows up!
Qhuinn wins this for me…just. Adam’s an awesome alpha, but Qhuinn has been through so much and has come out the other side a better man. What can I say, the tortured ones get me everytime!

I adore Qhuinn, but he needs more maturing to take on Adam. Not in the “life lessons” category, but more in the learning to just BE realm. Let him be mated for a few and Blay will chill him out. 🙂
This is a hard decision! I think that Quinn is much more badass, but he might be a terrible alpha as in leader for other people to look up to.
Another tough one, but I had to go with Adam. I melt every time I read/reread his and Mercy’s books….LOL

QHUINN FOR THE WIN!!! you all are talking about how that other guy takes care of his own… Qhuinn has done that time and time again. Qhuinn has saved the life of the King!!!and Zsadist!!!…he has sacrificed his own life to be bodyguard to J.M. and he will fircely protect his loved ones…look what he did to Saxton on a hunch that he was cheating on Blay….Qhuinn saved his brother like a true warrior even though his brother almost killed hom. Qhuinn has can’t be knocked down he keeps getting back up for more! Even after a lifetime of being shamed from his own family and species, he has proved over and over he is a true male of worth!! I LOVE QHUINN!!! BDB for life!!

This Alpha Showdown is definitely interesting. Some of the dark horses are taking it from the obvious favorites.
The rounds are getting harder and it is more difficult to make a choice…but I am going to have to stick with Qhuinn…He can get anyone (male or female) to do pretty much anything he wants…Add that to the fact that he is officially a Brother and would gladly sacrifice himself to save the others and that makes him my choice for Alpha…I do think if it comes down to him and Ryo then Ryo will probably kick Qhuinn’s a** all the way back to the Brotherhood compound though 🙂 Love ’em both 🙂
