Terrible Fever Support GroupWe knew this day would come. On the release day for Stacia Kane’s City of Ghosts, the third book in her Downside Ghosts series (review), we listed the early symptoms of Terrible Fever.

The condition is a result of overwhelming love for or obsession with Terrible, an enforcer and love interest, in the series. In the weeks following City of Ghosts‘ release there has been a mass outbreak of Terrible Fever, and, we admit, our case has become much, much worse.

The rapid release of the first three Downside Ghosts books helped keep us happy, with plenty of literary goodness filled with Terrible. Unfortunately, the fourth book in the series isn’t slated for publication until Fall 2011. Upon hearing this, many of you have wondered how you would make it.

There is hope! Facts are truth!

Vampire Book Club joined up with Hanging with Bells and A Buckeye Girl Reads to bring you the “I Gots Terrible Fever Support Group” on Goodreads. In its infancy, the group is for discussing the novels and our love of all things Terrible. But the big plan is to have monthly reads of Terrible-laden chapters from the three novels, working our way chronologically to keep our Terrible Fever sated until the release of Downside Ghosts book 4.

Want to join? (Even if it’s just to read the introductions of how each of us came to have Terrible Fever, you’ll want to join.) View the I Gots Terrible Fever group on Goodreads.
