It’s not exactly a secret that we love Richelle Mead. Or that her series Vampire Academy is our favorite YA series. We aren’t exactly quiet about these things. So, it shouldn’t be a shock we’re all sorts of eager to read Bloodlines, the Vampire Academy spin-off set for release in August 2011.
Yesterday afternoon, Entertainment Weekly’s blog Shelf Life revealed the cover for Bloodlines. While we’re happy to show you the cover here, head over to Shelf Life to view a video of Richelle talking about the new book and get your VA fix.
As we still have months to go for Bloodlines, we’re more focused on the release of Iron Crowned (Dark Swan #3) in March.
*eagerness* I can’t wait to get this! 😀
My WoW
Definitely can’t wait for that one!!
Here’s my WoW
I saw the EW post yesterday and was so happy to see the cover reveal. Its similar in style to the VA covers but stands out on its own with the bright red and clean cut of the images :). I love it, I unfortunately couldn’t read the synopsis cause I’ve only recently started the VA series and didn’t want to get spoiled.

My WoW
Love the cover. Who’s the guy?
I’m currently reading Vampire Academy and like you I’m seriously loving it. I usually read on my iPad but I found a copy of Richelle Mead’s book “Frostbite” at Half Price Books so I bought it … she’s really a superb writer. I really like the depth she gives to her characters. Whoo hoo!
The main characters obviously Sydney don’t you see the gold thing on her face? and she’s blond.
