We’re in the mood for something dark, where characters might think they’re losing their minds. We were trying to find kindred spirits to the Mortal Instruments and Hunger Games series, and we spotted The Marbury Lens by Andrew Smith. It looks dark, magical and with a touch of maddening romance. It comes out next week on Nov. 9, and it is most certainly now on our to-read list.
