I have no idea who Jace is but I do know Anita. This is a woman who knows how to ask for help when needed, but doesn’t really need any help. She is called the Exectutionar due to the number of vapires she kills. She is Jean-Claude’s Servant, gaining extra powers all the time. She is the execurtionar for the local Werewolf pack. She has two triuberants of power, which is twice as many as anyone thought possible. She is the Queen to the Lepoard Pard and the Lion Pack. She has two animals to call and a vampire servant, which is supposed to be impossible. Anita works with the local police preternatural department and is a U.S. Marshall. And if that isn’t enough, she is most powerful nacromancer in the county, if not the world, raising corpses over two-hunder years dead. So, yeah, Anita gets my vote.

And I think Jace has her. He’s part angel. Anita could win MAYBE with the help of other people, her triumvirates, but Jace could take her one on one without much of a fight. Anita is much less powerful by herself. Jace can handle himself.

I’m amazed at the amount of sexist comments in this thread. Women should be able to have sex with whoever they want. It doesn’t make a woman less of a woman because she enjoys sex, and God forbid, has a lot of it. I mean, let’s ignore the fact that she has an ACTUAL reason for having the amount of sex she does. Plus, it’s not like she picks up random guys in bars….

Actually I voted for Anita…all jokes aside (and I actually do like Cassandra Clare’s books) she could kick Jace’s ass.

With Requiem she’d never even seen his thing before but all of a sudden she was on it. I’m as much of a feminist as any woman can claim to be, but the series has taken a drastic shift from Anita as a fighter and kick ass female and now she’s more of a sex addict than a vampire hunter. Give me early days Anita over this new, one track minded Anita any day. That Anita might have had a chance. This Anita would probably be too busy trying to have her way with Jace than defeat him.
I would also like to say that I texted my friend who is also a huge fan of both the series’ to ask her opinion and all she said was:

I understand people have personal preferences about sex and let’s face it, Anita has a lot of it with a lot of different men but she is a killing machine. She has tons of powers, experience and firearms. She also has the backing, personal and professional of many mystical, magical beings and she can draw on the powers of most of them. After reviewing all of the Alphas in the competition I would put my money on Anita every time.
She does have the backing of other people that are more strong than she is. That’s what gives her her power: Her connection to others. But in a one on one fight, with just the two of them, Jace would win, to me. But if Anita had all her backing, which would be Jace Wayland vs. Anita and Posse, Anita would win.

When it is time to fight, Anita shows up. Plus the bed hopping makes her stronger and gives her more power.
I havent read up on the vampire slaying girl but i did read the entries in the previous polls listed above. but i have to say hands down jace’s argument is better. Boinking aside, Jace has that certain factor of “LOVE ME!!” i guess you could say. You can’t help but like his character despite the snarky assholeness WHICH by the way covers up his inner demons. Inner demons, doesnt boink everything that stands still, kicks the shit out of demons without batting an eye… I’d say there’s a clear winner here. I’m sure Anita has mad skills but i’ve yet to read the series and am only going on comments and what i read up about her in the beginning of the post. Vampire slayers are awesome but Jace is swoon worthy without trying. Everytime he removes his glamor he has girls hunting him down. Anita doesnt even care about people hitting on her obviously since she’s busy having sex with them… Jace has more important things to do. Clear winner? I think so.
