Contest Roundup: Steampunk romance, Darcy vs. Edward and Halloween

This week we’ve found blogs and authors giving away signed goodness, a battle of the obstinate literary men and a ton of steampunk romance.

• We’re leading with one of our contests. In the event you missed it, we’re giving away adult and YA prize packs in celebration of reaching 500 followers via Google Friend Connect. • Meljean Brook, the author who made me swoon for a pirate in her book The Iron Duke, is having Steampunk Romance Week on her blog. In addition to exposing everyone to a bunch of great books in the genre, she’s giving them away! Books she’s giving away include: Kate Elliott’s Cold Magic, M.K. • We’ve got to give to Reading for Sanity, their Darcy vs. Edward contest is pretty damn cute. The winner will have to make a decision — a man with too much pride or a vampire who sparkles. The winner gets a prize pack of goodies tailored to her chosen man. (Way cute.) The contest is open internationally, but be sure to enter by Nov. 17.

• Courtney Allison Moulton has a great Halloween-themed giveaway with four prize packs that includes signed books by Moulton (Angelfire), Sophie Jordan (Firelight), Kody Keplinger (The Duff) and a bunch of other goodies. Open to U.S. residents only. Contest ends Oct. 25.

• Cindy Pon is giving away a signed copy of Wither by Lauren Destefano. Contest is open internationally, and Cindy will pick a winner on Oct. 27.
