If you’ve visited Vampire Book Club anytime in the last six years, you may have notice I have a thing for Richelle Mead books. Like big time. While my auto-buy author list is long, she’s at the top of it. (Along with Nalini Singh and Charlaine Harris, in case you were curious.)
I’ve experienced the end of series with her several times over—Georgina Kincaid, Dark Swan, Vampire Academy and then Bloodlines. The woman writes some crazy endings that make me cry throughout those multi-book journeys.
Now she has a standalone novel coming out next week (pre-order your copy). It’s called Soundless and it’s a young adult fantasy, a self-contained story. One book and done. This sounds like a great book, and can’t wait to read it. My favorite book written by Mrs. Mead would have to be The Vampire Academy

My favorite of Richelle’s books is Vampire Academy. I love the entire series but the first book is my favorite.

I’ve seen this cover floating around, but hadn’t yet taken the time to read Soundless’ blurb. I’m seriously glad I took the time today! This one has definitely made it to my to-be-read list.

I love all the Vampire Academy books but Last Sacrifice has to be my favorite. I know I paced back and forth reading that one. I am really looking forward to Soundless. I have heard a lot of positive things about it.
I’m sorry but I cant pick a favorite book. She is one of my favorite authors too!!! Georgia Kincaid was one of my favorite series, even if it isn’t as popular as the rest of her books. <3 me some Richelle Mead!!!
