We loved Nightshade. It’s an immensely romantic tale with strong women, love interests worthy of your attention and scorching prose. As if our review didn’t convince you we loved it, we also added the young adult paranormal novel to our best books of 2010 list.
We met Andrea Cremer down at the Texas Book Festival, and she was kind enough to sign a copy of Nightshade for one lucky Vampire Book Club reader.
As Nightshade has a unique love triangle — both guys are, well, good options — readers will always have different takes on which one is right for Calla. Believe me, there are lots that I have fallen in love with over the years. But my first was Stefan Salvatore. When I first read Vampire Diaries back in the 90’s I fell in love with him.

Wow this is a difficult question, I think I will have to go with Lucas from the Evernight Academy series. I didn’t like him that much at the start of the series but over time I grew to have a fondness for him.
I’m going to have to list several. I also pick Jace, and I have a soft spot for Jack from the blue bloods, and Heath from Cast books. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of him.

Ooh, hard choice. I think I either have to choose between Vampire Academy’s Dimitri Belikov or Mortal Instruments’ Jace Wayland. They’re both strong, gorgeous, and caring for their better half. Any girl who doesn’t fall in love with them is ridiculous.

I love love love Patch and Nora. They had some intense chemistry and also so much to overcome. They both made sacrafices for eachother and I can’t wait for the next book so I can read more about them

Dimitri from Vampire Academy. This is one of my few auto buys and auto reads without waiting to have more than one book in the series to read
In 2008 I fell in love with Edward! Cause if everybody is honest! He is soooo hot!!
In 2009! I fell for Emmet! He’s funny and sweet! (both twilight)
In 2010 i fell for Jack! Giving up the safe (his twin) for true love (schuyler) (blue bloods)
but 2011! I’m seriously thinking about Dimitri!! cause he loves rose but wants to protect her and himself from the heartache! And thinks he isn’t capable of love again! But eventually find he still is, and that he never stoped loving her.(vampire academy) But then there’s Eric (true blood) and damm he looks good! In the books if you use your imagination as well as in the series! He’s sweet (when sookie is around) and so so so hot!! So im still debating which to choose fortunately the year isn’t over jet!
Aubrey from In the Forests of the Night and Demon in My View was my first vampire love. He was the reason I started reading more vampire books.

My favorite love interest is Michael from the Morganville Vampires Books.
Im excited about this giveaway! My favorite YA love interests are Simon from TMI and Jay for The Body Finder because I LOVE bestfriend romances they are always the cutest and understanding. But there is one love interest that beats them all, Damon Salvatore… *fans self* Even though he’s a hard shell on the outside he’s such a softy on the inside and I think that he would love you the most if ever given the chance.. I would give him the chance. 😀
SO hard to choose just one… it’s like a three-way tie between Dimitri (VA series), Valek (Poison Study series), and Sonny (Wondrous Strange series).
