From VBC’s Chelsea: We’ve covered the best books of 2013, but we’re ready to look forward here at VBC. There are so many wonderful reads waiting for us in 2014. To help you get excited for new books, we’re going to post our reviewers’ most anticipated 2014 books. Add your favorites in the comments. Candace brings the sexy in her picks. No one is surprised. (See Amy’s, Krista’s, Amanda’s, Mary’s and Amber’s picks.)
1. Up From the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
Jeaniene Frost is ending one of the best series in the paranormal romance genre with Up From the Grave. I want to get my hands on this one because I’m guessing that Jeaniene is going to let Cat and Bones go out with a bang (or a broken headboard).
Releases Jan. 28, 2014. Pre-Order Up From the Grave
2. Dark Skye by Kresley Cole
Thronos and Lanthe. Those two words say it all. Since the Immortals were held in captivity on the island and we could see the reaction building between Thronos and Lanthe, I have been jonesing for their story.
Releases Aug. 5, 2014. Pre-Order Dark Skye
3. Crave the Night by Lara Adrian
Last year, we saw the new generation of Breed warriors with Edge of Dawn, Mira and Kellan’s story. Now it is Nathan’s turn to find a Breedmate. After Edge of Dawn, I am ready for more of this newer world.
Releases Aug. 5, 2014. Pre-Order Crave the Night
4. The King by J.R. Ward
Because it is Wrath and Beth, that is why I am anticipating this one. Bring on The King—and let him kick some ass.
Releases April 1, 2014. Pre-Order The King
Yes to The King! I hope it is epic. 🙂
Happy New Year!
